A Message from WGRG President

Danielle McBeth

On behalf of the Washington Government Relations Group (WGRG) and our network of nearly a thousand government affairs professionals, it is with great pleasure that I extend a warm welcome to each of you.

For more than 50 years, WGRG has served as the premier organization for African American government affairs professionals. Our members represent a diverse cross section of corporations, financial institutions, lobbying and law firms, trade associations and non-profit organizations, and are thought leaders and advocates on various policy issues in the state, federal, and international arena. The organization endeavors to increase dialogue between our members and key senior-level policy makers to foster meaningful public policy solutions.

We have a number of exciting events and programs scheduled for 2024, including our 13th Annual Tin Cup Awards Dinner on July 17, 2024 at the International Spy Museum. Working collaboratively with the WGRG Foundation, we have awarded more than $250,000 since the inception of the dinner thanks to our generous sponsors.

Several salon style events are planned that will bring together key leaders from the public and private sector to further enhance advocacy and networking opportunities.

If you are not a current dues paid member of WGRG, please consider joining us. For those who are currently dues paid members, thank you again for your time and talents and I look forward to your active engagement during the second session of the 118th Congress.

Sincerely,
Danielle McBeth
